GOLD OIL PLC ('Gold Oil' or the 'Company') Significant Shareholding

The Company was informed on 12 January 2008 that following a purchase on 10 January 2008 of 10,600,000 ordinary shares in Gold Oil, Mr I Parvizi has an interest in 75,400,000 ordinary shares of the Company's shares, representing 15.75% of the Company's issued share capital.
